
Muscles that move the Hand:


Tendons are easily replaced by string or artificial tendons and actuated via servo motors!




Although these muscles are placed in the forearm there main purpose is to extend and flex the hand.
Although there are nearly 39 active muscles that move the hand and forearm, there are generally four actions that facilitate hand motion. These actions are abduction, adduction, flexing, and extending. Ther names are also dependent on their location.
